“Shaped & Woven-Enduring Connections with Stone, Fiber & Beadwork” is on view at Trinidad Museum.  The exhibit includes caps, baskets, jewelry, stone implements, regalia and two model redwood canoes from the museum’s permanent collections and new acquisitions.  Ron and Melanie Johnson, Kirsten Trump, Kathy Heil and Janet Eldridge recently added caps and baskets to the museum collections and some of these are on display.  Carita Dooley & Alexandra Cox, curators.  The Clarke Historical Museum loaned pedestals to display some of the larger baskets and Carita painted them to harmonize with the exhibit.
